MEETING OF THE CITY OF LANSING PUBLIC MEDIA AUTHORITY
HELD ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 2026, AT 3:30 P.M.

1. Minutes of June 3, 2026, meeting.
Jason Gabriel called the meeting to order at 3:38 pm. Andy Kilpatrick made the motion to approve the
meeting minutes. Greg Venker second the motion with the corrected spelling of his last name in two
places. All in favor.
2. Directors Report.
Dominic Cochran gave an update. LPMA attended celebrations in June including Juneteenth and the
Pride Festival to promote the new Ovation Center. Concrete footings have started on the construction of
the new Ovation Center.
3. Finance Report.
Emily Linden presented expense, deposit report details and construction costs. Everything is on track
and more year-end invoices are expected to come in before closing out the fiscal year. The new sign is
up outside the LPMA building which includes Lansing Public Media Center, the Ovation, Capital City
Film Festival and the City of Lansing.
