MEETING OF THE CITY OF LANSING PUBLIC MEDIA AUTHORITY
HELD ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, 2026, AT 3:30 P.M.

1. Minutes of May 6, 2026, meeting.
Jason Gabriel called the meeting to order at 3:33 pm. Andy Kilpatrick noted that should say 5/29 (not
5/19) for ribbon cutting, and Dominic noted they should reference Capital City Film Festival, not
Capital City Music Festival. Andy Kilpatrick made the motion to approve the meeting minutes. Greg
Venker second the motion. All in favor.
2. Directors Report.
Dominic Cochran gave an update. 5/29 ribbon cutting was good. Final inspections should be AM of
6/4/26. Location will have excellent internet. LPMA will not be attending NEVA this year.
3. Finance Report.
Emily Linden presented expense and deposit report details. Discussion of current year budget, we are
mostly under budget, and fundraising is still ahead of expenditures. Next year's budget is mostly the
same, but with a breakout from "operating" for "sponsorship and travel" and a breakout from
"marketing" for "conferences and education". FYE 2027 Budget moved by Greg Venker, supported by
Andy Kilpatrick. All in favor.
4. Other Business:
None
5. Public Comment:
Colleen Cole was present from the public, is VP of member services for MSUFCU, and observing
because she is interested in the soon to be vacant board position; had positive things to say about the
ribbon cutting and kickoff.
