Suite 101, Lansing, MI 48933 MINUTES Members Present: Shelley Davis Boyd, Calvin Jones, Jonathan Smith, Bryan Britten, Rawley Van Fossen, Chaz Carrillo, Dr. Cristina Benton Members Absent: Dr. Alane Laws-Barker, Catherine Rathbun Staff Present: Kris Klein, Amiee Evans, Brian Swett, Alex Watkins, Aurelius Christian, Shay Manawar, Chelsea Dowler, Kahleea Washington Guests: None Call to Order/Rollcall Chair Shelley Davis Boyd called the Lansing Brownfield Redevelopment Authority meeting to order at 9:13 A.M. Approval of LBRA Board Meeting Minutes – Friday, February 6, 2026 (ACTION) MOTION: Member Van Fossen moved to approve the LBRA Board meeting minutes of Friday, February 6, 2026, as presented. Motion seconded by Member Jones. YEAS: Seven (7); Unanimous, motion carried. Financial Update Klein provided a financial update to the Board. Submittal of Draft FY2027 LBRA Budget (ACTION) Klein presented a draft LBRA Budget for FY2027 to be submitted for the city budget book. Klein noted there will most likely be revisions as before a final budget is presented to the board for consideration. Member Benton inquired about some of the larger increases in revenue from some Plans. Member Carrillo asked about the MarketPlace Plan revenue. Member Britten asked about Motor Wheel Plan revenue. Ensuing discussion offered clarified of the draft budget amounts. MOTION: Member Carrillo moved to approve the LBRA FY2027 Draft Budget, as presented. Motion seconded by Member Smith. YEAS: Seven (7); Unanimous, motion carried.
