Michigan Ave , Lansing, MI 48933 DISCLOSURE ' I am advised that the City, through Fleet Services and the Finance Director, has arranged a direct sale of an obsolete/surplus used LPD patrol vehicle to the Ingham Intermediate School District (IISD) for its current value of$1,200. I am also advised that the City's Finance Department has independently determined the proposed disposition complies with the applicable requirements of the Lansing purchasing ordinance, Section 206.13(c). While I have not been involved in any way with arranging this sale, and I believe this direct sale transaction complies with the ordinance disposition requirements, I make this disclosure because my wife is president of the IISD board. The City Attorney has reviewed the matter, and while he is of the opinion that no direct conflict exists, he suggests that I make this disclosure to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest.
