Comes now Russel A. Lawler, who after being duly sworn
deposes and says :
1. That at the present time I am acting as a Commissioner
of the Board of Police Commissioners of the City of Lansing.
2. That I am the owner of certain property located on
Lawler Court which the City of Lansing is interested in acquiring.
3, That I intend to transact certain business with the
City in clearing the title to the aforesaid property.
4. That any actions that I have insofar as the City is .
concerned will not be in any conflict. with my position. as Police
Commissioner.
5. That this communication is being forwarded to the City
Clerk in accord with the Charter and Ordinances of the Ci: y of
Lansing and that in my opinion there will be no conflict of
interest between my actions with the said City concerning the
property and my position as Police Commissioner.
