Jordan Attachment: 6. I serve as a Deacon on the Board of Deacons at my church, First Assembly of God of Greater Lansing. Although normally that would not create a conflict with my position with the City, it has produced a potential conflict since I have access to certain information as a Deacon that directly affects the City of Lansing's lawsuit with Lansing Township (City of Lansing v Lansing Township, City of East Lansing, and Land Once, 01-93927-CK). I am working on this litigation on behalf of the City. The church has received an offer from East Lansing to receive sewage service tap-in, at no cost, in exchange for an easement across our property. This easement is intended to provide the sewage hookup between Lansing Township, Land One, and East Lansing. Although I will not directly benefit from this offer, I, as a Deacon, have voted on accepting this offer, which is a benefit to my church. I am making this disclosure because of a possible conflict between a personal interest and the City's interest.
