Adams Affidavit of Disclosure To the City of Lansing Ethics Board 6. Please describe in detail your reasons(s) for submitting this disclosure and explain why you think a conflict may/may not exist I have been asked by two candidates for state office to assist them in their campaign efforts. The type of assistance that has been discussed would be computer related, i.e., creating and updating databases to be used in campaign mailings and or walking lists for the candidates I do not believe a conflict exists for the following reasons: 1. Any work or services would be performed at night or on weekends, using personal computer equipment and personal software 2. 1 do not, as secretary in the Clerk's Office, perform any duties or responsibilities that are equal to or comparable with the services being proposed or offered to the candidates. 3. 1 do not, in my duties as secretary in the Clerk's Office, have access to software that will be used in performing the services that are proposed or offered to the candidates. 4. 1 do not, as secretary in the Clerk's Office, work with voter registration data on a regular and consistent basis 5. 1 have requested that no contact regarding these services, either via phone, email or fax, be made to me at the Clerk's office during normal business hours. 6. 1 have requested that other than an initial introductory meeting with the candidate regarding proposed services, any necessary contact be between representatives of the candidate and not the candidate themselves. 7. 1 have requested that any necessary contact by the representatives of the candidates be through my home telephone, fax, or email. 8. All data or information regarding data will be obtained or supplied by the candidates' representative. Both campaigns have been informed of and agreed with the filing of this disclosure with the Ethics Board.
