Approval of September 2025, MACIA Meeting Minutes – Action
Update the agenda
MOTION:Damen moved to approve the meeting minutes. Motion seconded by Clark.
YEAS: Unanimous. Motion carried.
Public Comment
The public introduced themselves
Update on Block 2000
Chair Lum provided an update on the Block 2000 project. Work is underway. China Flavor
work (60% complete), halted.
Scott will send the invoice to Kahleea for payment to each contractor. Jon will sign the
outstanding project agreements before they are fully executed by the Lansing EDC.
Monthly communication.

Update on Business Workshop
The MACIA hosted the workshop on Tuesday at Edmond’s, but no one showed up.
The email invite was not received by the business owners in the room.
The board discussed ways to better reach the business/property owners for future events
on the corridor. Board members volunteered to do in-person efforts and update emails to
ensure effective communication. Using platforms to manage emails/communication.
