Approval of TIFA Board Meeting Minutes — Friday, January 15, 2021 MOTION: Binoniemi moved to approve the TIFA meeting minutes from Friday, January 15, 2021 TIFA Board of Director's meeting, as presented. Motion carried. TIFA Audited Financial Statements — YE June 30, 2020 (Action) Dorshimer introduced Steve Kirinovic, who presented on the TIFA Financials for the year end of June 30, 2020. Kirinovic stated the main objective of the audit is to understand the accountant's opinion. He stated that the TIFA received a clean unmodified opinion which is the best results possible from the audit. Kirinovic walked through entire report and hit the highlights of the report and noted that FY2021 revenues had increased while expenditures decreased. There followed a discussion regarding the sale of the Townsend Parking Ramp by the City to the State of Michigan. Member Donaldson asked if the proceeds of the sale were used to pay TIFA Dept. Dorshimer responded that the proceed where not used to pay down TIFA debt because the City had first rights to the funds and kept them. MOTION: Coleman moved to accept the TIFA Audited Financial Statements for year end June 30, 2020 as presented. Motion seconded by Johnson. Member Donaldson asked about Maner Costerisan and their current employees in Lansing. Mr. Kironivic shared that the mid -Michigan office of Maner Costerisan is their largest in the state and that they recently hired several new employees bringing their total employment to 157. Finance Update Jake Brower from the city of Lansing provided an update on the TIFA financials. Chair Jones asked about a more thorough training on the financials for board members this summer. Member 1 Donaldson shared that the Lugnuts is back up and playing this summer and he wanted to remind the board that these projects make a big difference to the city such as the stadium.
