Capitol Ave. at 7:00 pm February 10, 2009 The February 2009 meeting of the City of Lansing Mechanical Board of Appeals was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Richard Cortright. The following members were in attendance: Richard Cortright, Chairman Pat Ryan �r Paul Maxwell Gilmore Jr. r -q Marcus Metoyer Jr. C, -i Members absent: None - Staff Present: Brian Shields, Chief Mechanical Inspector Cal Baxter, Mechanical Inspector The Chairman asked for the approval of the November 10, 2008 & December 9, 2008 minutes. Paul Gilmore Jr. made a motion to approve the minutes. Seconded by Richard Cortright, motion carried. Old Business: None New Business: Brian Shields gave an update of the progress of the Forbes Mechanical Contractors Act proposed changes. The proposed Act has been submitted to a Representative. Other Business: None Divisional Actions Report: City Mechanical Inspectors have made 469 inspections in December 2008 & January 2009. There have been 168 Mechanical Permits issued for 2009 as compared to 151 for this time in 2008. The next Scheduled Meeting is April 14, 2009 at 7:00 pm. At 9:00 p.m., Paul Gilmore Jr. made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Marcus Metoyer Jr., motion carried.
