Chairman Tim Waite called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m.

PBA-001-2013 2506 Boston Blvd Ronnie Tyson
The petitioner Ronnie Tyson is requesting a variance from Section 2608.2 of the Michigan residential
Code (MRC) 2009. for his residential rental property at 2506 Boston Blvd.
The board members viewed about 40 seconds of video on Mr. Tyson computer. Camera work showed
cast iron was improperly tapped — creating continuous back-ups from catching debris and reduction of
flow. Pipe viewed was full.
After a lengthily discussion the Plumbing Board denied the variance. Board did agree to allow Mr. Tyson
to expose tie in to cast for inspection.
The motion was made by Emmett Kelly and seconded by Steve Reck. Motion carried unanimously.
At 8,30 p.m. Emmett Kelly made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Tim Waite motion carried.
Next Plumbing Board meeting will be August 8, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
