With absences, there were not enough Plumbing Board members present to make a quorum.
Therefore, no official business was conducted.

Drain Lavers Exam
The Plumbing Board members present, interviewed Maynard E. Brown and Toni Landosky and
found them qualified to take the drain layers exam.
Frank E. Eirosius, Chief Plumbing Inspector administered the drain layers exam.
Maynard E. Brown scored 70%
Toni Landosky scored 68%

Next Plumbing Board meeting will be March 8, 2012 at 7,00 p.m.

MEMBERS ABSENT: BILL POND
STAFF PRESENT: FRANK EIROSIUS, SR., CHIEF PLUMBING INSPECTOR
Chairman Tim Waite called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. On a motion by Steve Reck, supported by
Emmett Kelly, the minutes for January 12, 2012 and February 9, 2012, were approved unanimously.
Old Business: None
Drain Layers Exam:
The Plumbing Board Members interviewed and found all the drain layers, listed below, to be qualified to take
the drain layers exam.
Tony Landosky scored 94%
Dan Jocham scored 84%
Gordon Stenger scored 94%
Arnold Ridner scored 70%
Andrew J. Pizana scored 66%
New Business:
The Plumbing Board members took considerable time to discuss a new way of protecting the trap seal called
Sure Seal. It is approved by the State as a product that shall be equal to providing a trap primer. The
Plumbing Board discussed how Sure Seal should be used in the installation of the plumbing system. The
members decided to approve the product as submitted by the manufacturer, but feel there are still gray areas
leaving the interpretation up to the Plumbing Inspector.
Emmett Kelly made a motion to adjourn at 8:57 p.m., seconded by Steve Reck, motion carried unanimously.
Next Plumbing Board Meeting will be April 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
