Moved by Deputy City Attorney Sumner to approve the agenda. Motion Carried. 3. Moved by Deputy City Attorney Sumner to approve the minutes of the Election Commission Meeting of October 30, 2018. Motion Carried. 4. Public Comment There was no public comment. 5. New Business Moved by Deputy City Attorney Sumner to approve the consolidation of precincts for the May 7, 2019 election. Public Comment There was no public comment. 3. Moved by City Assessor Frischman to approve the agenda, as amended. Motion Carried. 4. Moved by Chief Deputy City Attorney Abood to approve the minutes of the Election Commission Meeting of March 8, 2019. Motion Carried. 5. New Business Moved by Chief Deputy City Clerk Jackson to approve the establishment of the Absentee Counting Board for the May 7, 2019 Election and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary. Motion Carried. Moved by Chief Deputy City Clerk Jackson to adopt the proposed assignment of Election Inspectors as submitted for the May 7, 2019 Election and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary. Consideration of Precinct Consolidations for the August 6, 2019 City Primary Election CITY OF LANSING ELECTION COMMISSION RESOLUTION TO CONSOLIDATE PRECINCTS FOR THE CITY PRIMARY TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2019 WHEREAS, the City of Lansing anticipates a low voter turnout for the City Primary on August 6, 2019; and WHEREAS, consolidating precincts in polling locations that have more than one precinct voting at them would save funds by reducing the number of Election Inspectors, lowering programming expenses, and reducing equipment delivery costs; and Lansing City Clerk's Office Ninth Floor, City Hall, 124 W.
