Public Comment There was no public comment. III. Establishment of AV Counting Boards for March, 2016 Election Moved by Finance Director Bennett to approve the establishment of the AV Counting Boards for the March 8, 2016 Election, and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary. Motion Carried. IV. Assignment of Election Inspectors for March 8, 2016 Election Moved by Finance Director Bennett to adopt the proposed assignments of the Election Inspectors as submitted for the March 8, 2016 Election, and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary. Motion Carried. V. New Business There was no new business. VI. Adjournment Adjourned at 1:12 p.m. Official Proceedings of the City of Lansing Election Commission March 1, 2016 Meeting was called to order by City Clerk Swope at 2:06 p.m. Members Present: Chris Swope, City Clerk Janene McIntyre, City Attorney Angela Bennett, Acting City Assessor Others Present: Monica Zuchowski, City Clerk's Office I. Approval of Minutes Moved by City Attorney McIntyre to approve the minutes of the City of Lansing Election Commission Meeting of. March 1, 2016 Motion Carried. II. Public Comment There was no public comment. III. The Election Commission performed the public accuracy test. Moved by Acting City Assessor Angela Bennett to accept the results of the Public Accuracy Test. Motion Carried. V. New Business Moved by Acting City Assessor Angela Bennett to accept the consolidation of election precincts for the May 3 Lansing School District Special Election. Motion Carried. VI. Public Comment There was no public comment. III. Approval of Minutes Moved by Interim City Attorney Abood to approve the minutes of the City of Lansing Election Commission Meeting of. April 26, 2016 as amended. Motion Carried. II. Public Comment There was no public comment. III. The Election Commission performed the public accuracy test. Moved by Interim City Attorney Abood to accept the results of the Public Accuracy Test. Public Comment There was no public comment. III. Establishment of Five AV Counting Boards for August 2, 2016 Election Moved by Acting City Assessor Bennett to approve the establishment of the Five AV Counting Boards for the August 2, 2016 Election, and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary. Motion Carried. IV. Assignment of Election Inspectors for August 2, 2016 Election Moved by City Attorney Smiertka to adopt the proposed assignments of the Election Inspectors as submitted for the August 2, 2016 Election, and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary. Motion Carried. V. New Business Sharon Frishman, the new City Assessor, will be attending the Election Commission meetings in the future. VI. Establishment of AV Counting Boards for November 8, 2016 Election Moved by City Assessor Frischman to approve the establishment of the six AV Counting Boards for the November 8, 2016 Election, and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary. Motion Carried. IV. Assignment of Election Inspectors for November 8, 2016 Election Moved by City Assessor Frischman to adopt the proposed assignments of the Election Inspectors as submitted for the November 8, 2016 Election, and authorize the City Clerk to make adjustments as necessary.
