Motion seconded by Johnson. Yeas: Unanimous. Motion carried. TIFA Financial Statements - Period Ending November 30, 2014 Dorshimer provided an overview of the TIFA Financial Statements, period ending November 30, 2014. Smith noted that the actual tax capture was $2.5 million dollars. Motion: Coleman moved to accept the TIFA Financial Statements, period ending November 30, 2014 as presented and place on file. TIFA Financial Statements - Period Ending February 28, 2014 Smith provided an overview of the TIFA Financial Statements, period ending February 28, 2015. Motion: Coleman moved to accept the TIFA Financial Statements, period ending February 28, 2015, as presented and place on file. Motion seconded by Mayor Bernero. Yeas: Unanimous. Motion carried. 2015 - 2016 TIFA Proposed Budget Dorshimer provided a brief overview of the 2015-2016 TIFA proposed budget for the board's approval. He noted that the actual tax capture is up from last year ($2.9 million dollars), and anticipates this will continue to grow as the economy rebounds. Motion: LaVoie moved to accept the 2015-2016 TIFA proposed budget as presented. Motion seconded by Coleman. Yeas: Unanimous. Motion carried. 1 Other Business None. Dorshimer noted that there is good news, as real-estate values continue to grow and increase in downtown Lansing. Motion: Johnson moved to accept the TIFA Financial Statements as presented, period ending June 30, 2015, as presented and place on file. Motion seconded by Ragan. Yeas: Unanimous. Motion carried. The following points were made during his presentation. • Provided overview of Independent Auditor's Report - Page 1-2 • Provided overview of Statement of Net Position - Page 8 • Provided overview of Balance Sheet - Page 10 • Provided overview of Statement of Revenue, Expenditures and Changes in Fund Balance - Page 12 • Blann noted this was another clean audit with no deficiencies found Motion: LaVoie moved to accept and approve the TIFA Audited Financial Statements, period ending June 30, 2015, as presented.
