Call to Order/Rollcall
Chair Calvin Jones called the Lansing TIFA Board Meeting to order at 9:42 A.M.
Approval of TIFA Board Meeting Minutes – Friday, October 3, 2025 (Action)
MOTION: Member Smith moved to approve the TIFA meeting minutes from Friday, October
3, 2025, Board of Directors meeting, as presented. Motion seconded by Member Laws-
Barker.
YEAS: SEVEN (7); Unanimous; motion carried.
Financial Update
Manawar provided a financial update to the Board.
TIFA Act Amendment and Update
Klein provided an update on SB-199, including a summary of the amendment to the TIFA
statute and recent activity in the Michigan Senate.
Open Forum for TIFA Board Members
Member Laws-Barker announced the upcoming 2025 Melanated Business Alliance Youth
and Small Business Expo to be held on November 19th at the University Club of MSU.
