MEETING OF THE CITY OF LANSING PUBLIC MEDIA AUTHORITY
HELD ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2025, AT 3:30 P.M.

1. Minutes of July 2, 2025, meeting.
Andy Kilpatrick called the meeting to order at 3:33 pm. Melik Brown made the motion to approve the
meeting minutes. Greg Venker second the motion. All in favor.
2. Directors Report.
Dominic Cochran gave an update and shared the power point presentation that was used during the
Committee of the Whole meeting dated August 25, 2025. Dominic talked about the tariffs and how they
may or may not have an impact on the Ovation project. Fundraising continues to be strong. Andy
Kilpatrick presented 3 ideas to consider: 1. Walk of Fame, 2. Outdoor speakers, and 3. Street festivals.
3. Finance Report.
Emily Linden presented expense report details, June expense and deposit reports and an update on
construction costs.
4. Other Business:
Suggested moving meetings to 318 N. Capitol going forward.
