MEETING OF THE CITY OF LANSING PUBLIC MEDIA AUTHORITY
HELD ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 2, 2025, AT 3:30 P.M.
Members Present: Jason Gabriel, Chair
Crystal Thomas, Treasurer

1. Minutes of the February 5, 2025, meeting.
Jason Gabriel called the meeting to order at 3:38 pm. Andy Kilpatrick made the motion to approve the
meeting minutes. Greg Venker second the motion. All in favor.
2. Directors Report.
Dominic Cochran gave an update and welcomed Melik Brown to the board. Dominic talked about the
Value Engineering Summit he attended. Fundraising is going strong, and groundwork is happening
now. Melik requested monthly updates on social media.
3. Finance Report.
Emily Linden presented expense report details, June deposit report and an update on construction costs.
Continue to ramp up fundraising.
4. LPMA Budget.
Emily Linden pointed out on the budget that City Support, giving back to the City, will not happen until
the Ovation Center is up and running
5. Other Business:
Andy Kilpatrick noted that sewer work on Lenawee St. will be redone.
