After roll call the board went around introduced themselves to the new
board member.
Approval of Lansing Gateway CIA Meeting Minutes (May 201h, 2025)- Action
Chair Benstein offered some revisions and then asked for a motion to approve
the amended meeting minutes.
Motion: Kipp
Support: Van Arkel
Passed unanimously
Update on IFAD Project
Chair Benstein provided background on this effort to Member Kipp. Currently,
Chair Benstein and IFAD are working together to create an appropriate service
agreement.
The board discussed the next steps in executing the agreement.
Other Business
Washington informed the board that she is working to get MDOT-owned medians
on the City of Lansing's Corridors Improvement Authorities mowed more
frequently. The CIA board chairs will meet again soon to discuss collaborating
on this and other joint efforts.
Member Van Arkel mentioned the missing sign topper on the east side of the
corridor, and Washington will work to get that addressed.
