Members absent: Eric Schertzing
Staff present: Assessor Jennifer Czeiszperger, Deputy Charles English, ReBekah
McDaniel and Eli Joy
® Meeting called to order at loam
• Motion to excuse Eric Schertzing from the meeting was approved
® Roll officially turned over to the Board
o Board received a value summary for each county
® Discussed the purpose of the organizational meeting-to meet and discuss before
the March Board of Review
® Brief discussion on the Bylaws-the board will vote on changes to the Bylaws on
Monday March loth
® Discussed the MBOR
o The board will receive a schedule of appointments daily.
o Purpose of the MBOR is to hear appeals of the assessments and
correction or records, hear Poverty Exemption applications, hear
classification appeals, hear personal property denials or late files of
EMPP, small business taxpayer and QHERP appeals, and hear denial of
agricultural and other property tax exemptions appeals
o There have been around 28 appointments so far
o Brief discussion on what counts as a conflict of interest

• Motion to approve DBOR Minutes-approved
• Motion to appoint Mike Redding to be MBOR Chairman-approved
• Motion to nominate ReBekah McDaniel to be the MBOR Secretary-approved
• Discussed inflation rate
• Meeting adjourned at 10:18am
