Joe Peters made a motion to approve the minutes. Motion seconded by Walt Smiley. Motion carried. Old Business: There was discussion of follow-up concerning Pat Ryan and the installation of conduit at 524 Allen Street. There has been no response from Pat Ryan as of this date. New Business: There was discussion of the Electrical Fee Schedule. The last fee increase in Lansing was effective as of July 1, 2003. Data Telecommunications —Add Fee's Whole House Permit— Raise to $250.00? Discussion to eliminate Whole House Permit/ Flat Construction Fees There was additional discussion to amend the City of Lansing Electrical Permit Fees to be in line with other municipalities. The new permit application form would be itemized. Brian Carter will discuss with Dave Williams — Changing Permit Fees to follow other municipalities. Old Business: NONE New Business: There was discussion of the GM Delta Plant and the possibility of a tour of the facility. There was discussion that Pat Ryan/Ryan Electric installed service at a single family dwelling on the driveway side using Schedule 40 conduit when Code requires Schedule 80 conduit. If the contractor does not make the appropriate repairs, the Department will send a correction notice. There was also discussion of the bundling effect as it pertains to wire fill.
