Dear President Leeman and Councilmembers:
As you are completing work on the Fiscal Year 2008 Budget, the Board of Ethics has
asked me to take this opportunity to remind you of required disclosures regarding potential
conflicts of interests. In the interest of keeping the public as informed as the City Council,
the Board of Ethics recommends that the Council err on the side of redundancy and
maintain disclosures at all levels of the budget process where there is a potential conflict or
an appearance thereof.
Sincerely,
