The meeting was called to order at 5:30 P.M. in the Ninth Floor City Clerk’s Conference Room, City Hall, Lansing, Michigan. BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Ellen Sullivan, PhD Chairperson Rev. John Folkers, Vice-Chairperson Don Cote
Ron Frybort Susan Grettenberger, PhD Rev. LaSandra Jones (arrived at 5:45 P.M.) ABSENT: None A QUORUM WAS PRESENT OTHERS PRESENT: John M. Roberts Jr., Chief Deputy City Attorney M. Denise Griffin, Chief Deputy City Clerk PUBLIC COMMENT: There was no public comment
APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Moved by Mr. Cote to approve the agenda as submitted.
MOTION CARRIED
SECRETARY=S REPORT: Approval of Minutes: Moved by Mr. Cote to approve the minutes of November 14, 2006 with corrections. MOTION CARRIED Communications and Petitions sent and received since the last meeting: 1. Affidavit of Disclosure from Arnold Yerxa, Interim Internal Auditor
Moved by Ms. Grettenberger to send the standard letter stating the affidavit submitted conforms with the
requirements of the Ethics Ordinance and that the affidavit has been received and placed on file.

3. Letter to Brian Ross regarding his Affidavit of Disclosure
4. Letter to Miriam Mattison regarding her Affidavit of Disclosure
Moved by Ms. Grettenberger to received and place on file items 2, 3 and 4.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: There was no Unfinished Business NEW BUSINESS: There was no New Business BOARD ROUND TABLE: Member Frybort spoke about his attending a HR Meeting and that he had approached one of the guest speakers after attending this meeting. The speakers name is Erik Linquist and he does presentations on Ethics. He asked him about doing a presentation for the City’s Ethics Board at a later late and he negotiated his fee to $0. He said maybe this is something that we can keep in mind and consider for the future after we get a new member. Member Cote spoke about being active on committees and how rewarding it is. He also stated that he would like for the Board to hold his feet to the fire because he has vowed to lose 10 pounds before the next meeting. ADJOURNED 6:05 P.M.
