Approval of Lansing Gateway CIA Meeting Minutes (Oct. 1, 2024)- Action

Passed unanimously
ARPA Funds Allocation
Chair Benstein provided the LGCIA board members with two options to allocate
the ARPA funds. One table included the "allocation categories" identified at last
month's meeting (option "A"), and the other table included categories outline in
the LGCIA's Development and TIF plan (option "B"). Both options provide the
board members with suggestions on how to allocate the funds strategically based
on the Development and TIF Plan and board priorities.
Van Arkle moved to allocate the LGCIA's ARPA funds. Bohnet supported the
motion, which passed unanimously.
Hartwell made a motion to accept ARPA Fund proposal "B", Van Arkle seconded
the motion. The motion passed unanimously

Public Comment:
Members of the public inquired about the source of ARPA funds and how they
are allocated.
Mayor Schor explained how the City of Lansing disbursed their ARPA funds to
support the CIAs and other development efforts throughout the city. Mayor Schor
thanked the board members for their participation the board and the public for
engaging.
