Call to Order
Chair Davis Boyd called the meeting to order at 8:31a.m.
Approval of LBRA Board Meeting Minutes – Friday, September 06, 2024 (ACTION)
MOTION: Member Jones moved to approve the LBRA meeting minutes from the Friday, September
06, 2024 Board of Directors meeting, as presented. Motion seconded by Member Rathbun.
YEAS: Unanimous, motion carried.
New Vision Lansing Transformational Brownfield Plan #87 (ACTION)
Dorshimer introduced individuals involved in the New Vision Lansing Transformational Brownfield Plan. Dowler provided an overview of what a Transformational Brownfield plan is. John Gentilozzi of
Gentilozzi Real Estate presented an overview of the New Vision Lansing project, which involves
apartment buildings and retail space in Downtown and Old Town. Klein presented breakdowns of
figures concerning projected tax revenue.
Member Van Fossen moved to approve the New Vision Lansing Transformational Brownfield Plan #87,
as presented. Motion supported by Member Jones. Open Forum for LBRA Board Members
Davis Boyd shared with the board that M3 has acquired a marketing firm in the Detroit area.
