SUBJECT: Rules of Administrative Procedure
As directed by the Board of Electrical Examiners, enclosed is
a copy of the administrative rules adopted by the board at their
June 15, 1976 , to be placed on file with the City Clerk.

RULES OF ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE BY O
1 . The Board will hold not less than one regular meeting each month to be held
on the third Tuesday at the Building Department office, located in the
lower level of the Washington Square Annex. When there is a change in the
meeting place, the new location shall be placed on file with the City Clerk
24 hours prior to such meeting.
2. Special meetings may be called by the Chairman at any reasonable time on
personal notice by the secretary of all board members. Notice of "Special
Meetings" shall be filed with the City Clerk 24 hours prior to such meeting.
3. During the regularly scheduled meeting of July, the Board shall select a
Chairman and Vice-Chairman who shall serve for one year.
4. The Chairman, or Vice-Chairman in the absence of the Chairman, or the Secretary
in the absence of both of the above, when a quorum is present, shall call
meetings to order. Business will be conducted in accordance with Roberts Rules
of Order. The Chair may modify rules when approved by a majority of the Board
members present. The secretary of the Board shall prepare an agenda prior
to each meeting.
5. Three (3) members of the Board will constitute a quorum for the transaction of
business to come before the Board. In the absence of a quorum, a "Special Meeting"
may be called by the Chairman.
6. The minutes of all Board meetings shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk
as public record and no official action taken by the Board at any meeting
(regular and special ) shall be valid or effective until a copy of the minutes
of the meeting at which such action was taken shall have been so filed with
the City Clerk.
