GENERAL NOTES
Two arched corrugated metal pipes (S pipe: 10' span x 7' rise, N pipe: 14 ' span x 8.75' rise) with concrete headwalls and wingwalls.
Normal flow is through N pipe, S pipe is at higher elevation and is for high water flow only. 42" concrete pipe penetration in S pipe, 12"
concrete pipe penetration in north pipe. Bituminous road surface with concrete curb and gutter. Large patch (12' x 12' ) in SB lane over
south pipe. Large transverse crack both north and south of culvert. Some minor cracking and spalling of concrete curb. Guardrail each
side with damaged endings in NW and SE quads.

South pipe (10' span x 7' rise): Concrete floor placed along full length. Slab heavily cracked at W end, some map cracking at E end. 1"
separation between slab and pipe on N side at mid-length of pipe. Corrosion with rust holes both sides (47% of length S side, 17% of
length N side) just above concrete slab. Leakage between slab and bottom of pipe at both ends. Some buckling in top of pipe at 42" pipe
penetration. North pipe (14 span x 8.75 rise): 4'-8" x 3'-6" corroded area with numerous holes at W end. Minor buckling of floor at W end.
Some small rust holes at E end. Silt build-up with weeds growing at E end.
